League One’s clash of the titans ends in spirited stalemate

Lincoln City remain top of League One following a goalless draw with automatic promotion rivals Hull City on Tuesday evening. With the groundsman doing a sterling job to clear the snow off the pitch before kick-off, both sets of players weren’t in the mood to surrender any psychological advantage as the promotion race heats up in the division.

With Hull boasting a back four with an average of 21, it was the loss of Charlton’s elder statesmen, Darren Pratley, that had the biggest influence on the game as The Tigers comfortably recorded their first win in four outings.
