Hatta couldn’t respond from their second win of the season after their defeat to Al Jazira as they linger at the bottom of the table, ten points from safety and face an uphill task of survival. Vladimir Vermezovic is side face Khor Fakkan and will hope for a miracle in their last six games. The Eagles have won only one out of their five previous game following the 5-1 thrashing against Al Sharjah and sit seven points from relegation.

Shabab Al-Ahli dropped points twice in their last two games which decreased their chances of retaining their title. Wahda sit in eighth on 29 points, 15 points behind leaders Al Jazira. The defeat to Al Ain was the last straw after draws against relegation threateners Ajman and mid-table Al-Wasl in their previous two games.

Al Nasr made their chances of titles hopes even more difficult after they left it late to concede two goal’s to Baniyas, to go eight points from Al Jazira at the top. They welcome Al-Ittihad Kalba who ended a four game winless streak with a victory against Al Dhafra and sit comfortably in ninth.
