FOXBOROUGH, MA– Per Sources, the New England Revolution are signing 17-year-old defender Damario McIntosh to a first-team contract as a Homegrown Player ahead of the 2025 MLS campaign.
He will occupy a Supplemental Roster Slot and will be identified as a Homegrown player according to MLS roster rules.
Damario McIntosh is a 17-year-old, 5’10, 180lb, defender from Newark, California
At the club level, McIntosh has appeared in 25 career games (1,744 minutes) as an outside back for the New England Revolution II.
In career numbers, McIntosh has 0 goals, 0 assists, 3 yellow cards & o red cards.
Internationally, McIntosh can represent the United States. He has zero international call-ups.
McIntosh joined the New England Revolution Academy in 2023 and signed an amateur agreement with the Revolution II in February of 2024.

In June, he signed a professional contract with New England Revolution II through the 2024 season.
McIntosh was the 12th Revolution Academy Player to sign a professional contract with Revolution II, joining Esmir Bajraktarević, Noel Buck, Brandonn Bueno, Olger Escobar, Malcolm Fry, Hikaru Fujiwara, Peyton Miller, Colby Quiñones, Dennis Ramirez, Meny Silva, and Max Weinstein.
Less than one month after signing his first professional contract with New England Revolution II, McIntosh was named to the MLS NEXT All-Star roster.
He became the fourth player from New England to feature in the MLS NEXT All-Star game, joining Esmir Bajraktarevic (2022), Jack Panayotou (2022), and Olger Escobar (2023).
At the conclusion of the 2024 season, his Revolution II contract had expired.
Sources had indicated that McIntosh would be signed to a first-team contract ahead of the 2025 MLS campaign.
McIntosh’s deal begins in 2025 and is expected to run through the 2027 MLS season with a club option for the 2028 season.
McIntosh will become the 14th player to sign with New England as a Homegrown Player on a first-team contract with the Revolution and is one of nine players to sign a first team deal after initially signing with Revolution II.
He will join a talented crop of Homegrown Players that have already featured for New England: Peyton Miller (17), Tiago Suarez (19), Noel Buck (19), Malcolm Fry (19), & Jack Panayotou (20).
This past week, McIntosh attended the MLS Rookie Symposium alongside newly signed 2025 MLS SuperDraft pick Donovan Parisian in Miami, Florida.
McIntosh will join the Revolution ahead of their preseason in Miami, Florida which is set to begin later this week.
