Forward Marcos Dias delivered a ball into the area which forward Liam Butts got a head to bury it into the bottom left corner past goalkeeper Maclean Learned to make it 1-0. Butts was definitely offsides but there’s no VAR in MLSNEXTPro. 1-0 to New England.

In the 19th minute, NYCFC II were given a penalty kick after a foul in the penalty area by Hesron Barry. Hesron was issued a yellow card during the play.
Midfielder Piero Elias stepped up to take an the initial shot was saved by goalkeeper JD Gunn but the rebound fell Piero Elias to make it 1-1.
New England’s next chance came in the 23rd minute when a corner kick taken by Alex Monis was headed wide by defender Gabe Dahlin.
Allan Oyirwoth had a spectacular shot that was met with a stupendous save by goalkeeper Maclean Learned in the 34th minute.

Forward Damorney Hutchinson found midfielder Allan Oyirwoth for an absolute missile of a volley into to bottom left corner to make it 2-1 to New England.
Damorney Hutchinson had a chance to add to the lead with his effort after taking on two players was saved away by goalkeeper Maclean Learned in the 73rd minute.
In the 74th minute, NYCFC II head coach Matt Pilkington made his second change of the match by replacing Sebastiano Muso with Peter Molinari.
In the 77th minute, Revolution II defender Victor Souza was issued a yellow card for time wasting.
In the 86th minute, both teams made changes. NYCFC II head coach Matt Pilkington made his third & fourth change of the match by replacing Piero Elias & Julien Lacher with Luka Sunjic & Leo Guarino.
