FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution II have announced that they have signed midfielder Cristiano Oliveira to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract for the 2025 campaign.

He will occupy a Senior roster slot.

Cristiano Oliveira is a 16-year-old, 5’7, 145lb midfielder from Somerville, Massachusetts.

Oliveira, 16, signs with New England Revolution II after a successful MLS NEXT fall season and tenure of call-ups with the Revolution II during the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro campaign. Oliveira joined the Revolution Academy in 2021 and tallied 6 goals in 9 appearances in the 2023 MLS NEXT spring season with the U-15s and 3 goals in 11 appearances with the U-17s.

Oliveira is now the 14th Revolution Academy product to sign with New England’s second team.

In the 2023 MLS NEXT fall season, Oliveira led the Under-17s with 12 goals and 2 assists.

During the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro campaign, Oliveira made 10 appearances (544 minutes) where he registered 2 assists.

He has received 3 call-ups to the United States across the U-15 and U-16 Youth National teams.
