Another season in EFL League Two is forthcoming, but the Stags will also want to have a go at the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Papa John’s Trophy as a good cup run could compliment the league form fantastically.
Nigel Clough’s men start their season on August 7th at home against Bristol Rovers. Trips to Newport County and Colchester United follow after a Carabao Cup encounter against Preston North End at the One Call Stadium.
August is rounded off by the welcoming of Bradford City to NG18 and the away match against Swindon Town at the County Ground.
The following month sees only four League Two fixtures as the Stags start the month of September with a home match against Harrogate Town.
A week later, the amber and blues travel to the West Midlands to face Walsall at the Banks’s Stadium. They then return back to home action against relegated Rochdale before finishing the month with a trip to London to face Leyton Orient.
A busy October follows as welcome Barrow and Oldham Athletic to the One Call Stadium for back-to-back home games.
Two away games and two home games round off the month with the Stags travelling to Northampton and Exeter as they will also be welcoming Port Vale and Tranmere Rovers to NG18.
November will have three away matches against Stevenage, Sutton United and Crawley Town alongside the home fixture against Scunthorpe United.
Mansfield Town will be at home on Boxing Day against Hartlepool as the month of December also sees Carlisle United and Salford City travel to Nottinghamshire alongside the away trips to Gloucestershire to face Forest Green and North Yorkshire to face Harrogate Town.
The Stags start 2022 with an away trip to Rochdale which is followed by two home matches against Swindon Town and Walsall, an away match at the Progression Solicitors Stadium against Barrow and a final home match of the month of January against Leyton Orient.
February is another month that starts with an away fixture, this time it is against Hartlepool United at Victoria Park. Mansfield Town then welcome Colchester United to NG18 which is followed by an away trip to Bristol Rovers, a home match against Newport County and an away trip to Bradford City which concludes the month.
Exeter City travel to the One Call Stadium at the start of March with two away games following that against Tranmere Rovers and Port Vale. The month ends with a home game against Stevenage and a visit to Boundary Park to face Oldham Athletic.
The month of April is another hectic one as the Stags face six games, three home and three away. Firstly, Northampton Town travel to Nottinghamshire with the amber and blues on their travels a week later to face Scunthorpe United at the Sands Venue Stadium.
Mansfield Town then welcome Sutton United to NG18 on April 15th which is followed by the away trip to Cumbria to face Carlisle United on April 18th which completes the fixtures over the Easter Weekend.
The last three fixtures of the season see the Stags face Crawley Town in the penultimate home game of the season, Salford City in the final away game of the season on April 30th and Forest Green Rovers at the One Call Stadium for the final game of the season on May 7th.
In between those games will be the chance to shine in the Papa John’s Trophy where the Stags have drawn Sheffield Wednesday, Harrogate Town and Newcastle United’s under-21’s.
