Charlotte FC returns home after two matches on the road with a match against the New England Revolution.

This will be the second match between Charlotte and New England this season and the sixth match overall. New England won the most recent match 1-0 in April and has a 4-1-0 record in the five matches between the two clubs.

Both Charlotte and New England have played Orlando City and CF Montréal in their last two matches. Charlotte lost 2-1 on the road against Montréal and 2-0 on the road against Orlando, while New England lost 3-0 on the road against Orlando and drew 2-2 at home against Montréal.

Charlotte is in the midst of a six-match winless streak and a three-match losing streak, but can still turn the season around, sitting in seventh in the MLS Eastern Conference with five matches left to play. Meanwhile, New England is 15th in the Eastern Conference, but not eliminated from a potential wild card spot in the playoffs.

Coming off a match where they had just four total shots, Charlotte is in need of a bounce back performance which could come against a New England team that has only won two matches in MLS regular season play since the beginning of July and has allowed the fourth most goals in MLS this season.

The match is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, September 21, streaming on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
