The match kicked off at 9:30 p.m. ET at Dignity Health Sports Park to a crowd of 20,000.

Los Angeles opened the match on the front foot, quickly advancing the ball and applying pressure in New England’s defensive third.
Jack Harrison created the first opportunity in the eighth minute, but his left-footed effort from the right side of the penalty area sailed over the crossbar.
Three minutes later, Los Angeles was awarded a penalty after Revolution defender Will Sands brought down Kyogo Furuhashi inside the box. Sands received a yellow card for the challenge.
