Brentford have confirmed that their next two Championship matches against Bristol City and Reading have been postponed after a number of positive Covid-19 test results amongst the Bees’ squad.
This comes after head coach Thomas Frank tested positive for the virus last week with all the players who tested positive in the latest round of testing now going in for a period of isolation.
Due to confidentiality, the club won’t name any of the players who have contracted the virus in these latest results and will now face the prospect of a fixture pile up later in the season.

The game against Dean Holden’s Bristol City had already been previously postponed from the 2nd January due to an outbreak in the Robins’ squad so the two clubs will have to try again for a third time to get this game on later in the season.
The Bees are now next scheduled to be in action next Wednesday when they host Luton Town at the Brentford Community Stadium in the Championship.
The club have confirmed they will reveal the new dates of the game in due course.
