The traditional navy blue mixed with the pink today as Scotland unveiled the jerseys that the women’s side will wear in this summer’s World Cup finals. These are the first-ever set of kits exclusive to the Scotland Women’s National Team.

The Scotswomen will make their debut at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in customised new home and away kits with matches against England, Japan and Argentina.

The new designs – revealed on International Women’s Day – will be worn throughout the World Cup campaign in France as Shelley Kerr’s side make their first appearance on the game’s biggest stage.

Both designs will incorporate Climalite technology to help the players perform in any conditions.

The pink away shirt will be complemented by black shorts and pink socks.

Scotland’s traditional dark blue home shirt remains as a staple of the national teams.

Scotland captain Rachel Corsie was delighted with her side’s new kit, as the squad returned from their historic showing at the Algarve Cup where they beat Denmark and Iceland after losing narrowly 1-0 to Canada in their first game.

“It’s amazing to have our own kit,” Corsie said in an SFA press release.

“It’s something that’s really special to the girls – the kit looks amazing and you really feel the part when you wear it, which in turn can really add to our performance.

“All of these additional things are really adding to the squad’s excitement ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

“This is a big statement to everyone involved, from the players to the fans. We want to make the absolute most of the opportunity.”

The new women’s blue home shirt will be available in sizes from XXS to extra-large and  the pink away kit will be available to supporters of all ages. Junior shirts, women’s jerseys and men’s shirts – in sizes from extra small to extra-large – will also be available.

Scotland kick off their World Cup campaign in Nice on June 9 against England.
