AUSTIN, TX– Eastern Conference All Stars were victorious 4-3 over the Western Conference All Stars in Monday night’s MLS NEXT All-Star game
The match kicked off at 8:30 p.m. ET at Parmer Field to a crowd of 1,500.

The match kicked off with the Eastern Conference All Stars kicking off from the center circle and swiftly advancing the ball into the West’s defensive third.
Van Parker (Real Salt Lake) had the first chance during the match when a bad back pass was collected by midfielder and he drove toward the East’s penalty area and had an effort in the 5th minute was met with a spectacular block that went out for a corner kick.
The first chance for the Eastern Conference came in the 9th minute when a free kick toward the back post by Ademar Chavez (FC Cincinnati) went out for a goal kick.
Jonathan Ransom (Atlanta United) came up with a massive save for the East in the 14th minute when a cross into the area by Kaedren Spivey (SJ Earthquakes) was met with a confident claim by Ransom.
Less than two minutes later, the Western Conference had yet another chance came in the 16th minute when a free kick into the area by Lorenzo Cornelius (St. Louis CITY SC) was cleared out of the box with two headers.
Sahil Deo (Vancouver Whitecaps) had a massive opportunity to score in the 25th minute for the Western Conference when a long distant shot on target was met with a spectacular diving save by goalkeeper Jonathan Ransom (Atlanta United) and out for a corner kick.
Entering the 32nd minute, the Western Conference took the lead.

Lorenzo Cornelius (St. Louis CITY SC) drove down the byline, sent a defender down and sent the ball into the middle of the box to find Tim Dennis (Minnesota United FC) for a simple finish to make it 1-0 to the Western Conference.
The Eastern Conference had a chance in the 38th minute when a lofted cross chance by Dylan Judelson (Orlando City SC) just missed the top left corner and went out for a goal kick.
Just five minutes later, the Western Conference had a massive chance to score when a square cross across the box was trapped by Isaiah Kaakoush (FC Dallas), who then elected for a shot but sent it over the bar.
Just two minutes later, the East had a chance when Ademar Chavez (FC Cincinnati) drove into the area and elected for a shot that just missed the left post.
Less than a minute later, the West had a chance to add to their lead when a shot by Kaedren Spivey (SJ Earthquakes) from 6-yards out was met a block and clearance.

Midfielder Ademar Chavez (FC Cincinnati) sent a ball into the box that was trapped down by midfielder Cristiano Oliveira (New England Revolution) and led to Cristiano performing a turning pirouette shot into the goal to it to make it 1-1.
Moments later, the halftime whistle blew and the match entered halftime with the scoreline level at 1-1.

Prior to the start of the second half, both teams made changes. Eastern Conference All Star head coach Javier Carillo & Western Conference All Star head coach Jason Shackell replaced their entire lineups.

The second half kicked off with the Western Conference starting from the center circle and choosing to advance the ball into the East’s defensive third.
Kervon Kerr (Toronto FC) has the first chance of the second half for the Eastern Conference when he intercepted a back pass and took a shot that went just wide of the left post.
Entering the 52nd minute, the Eastern Conference took the lead.

Midfielder Gustavo Caraballo (Orlando City SC) received a pass in midfield, took a touch, and unleashed a shot into the bottom right corner to make it 2-1 to the East All Stars.
The Eastern Conference had yet another chance to add to their lead in the 54th minute when a shot inside the penalty area by Jamir Johnson (Philadelphia Union) went just wide of the net.
Less than three minutes later, the East had yet another chance when an effort from outside the penalty area by Prince Forfor (Columbus Crew) just missed the net.
The West’s next major chance came from a corner kick in the 61st minute when an effort into the area was headed on by Owen Jorgensen (St. Louis CITY SC) and just missed the left post.
The East’s next chance came in the 70th minute when a long distant effort by David Uranga (Athletum FC) was sent high over the crossbar.
Entering the 72nd minute, the Western Conference leveled the scoreline.

Following a cross into the box, it was headed on and fell for Steel Cooke (FC Dallas), who elected for a half-volley attempt that was initially saved and then trickled into the bottom right corner to make it 2-2.
Less than 4 minutes later, the East regained the lead.

Following an effort by Jamir Johnson (Philadelphia Union), the ball struck the crossbar, fell for a headed effort by Kervon Kerr (Toronto FC) that was met with a spectacular save by goalkeeper Jack Kortkamp (Sporting Kansas City) but the rebound fell kindly at the back post for Prince Forfor (Columbus Crew) to bury it to make it 3-2 to the Eastern Conference.
The Western Conference had yet another opportunity to level the scoreline in the 78th minute when a close range effort sent across by Tyler Brown (Vancouver Whitecaps FC) was claimed by goalkeeper Zach Cielewich (Baltimore Armour).
Entering the 83rd minute, the West leveled the scoreline.

Following a through-ball by Max Steelman (LA Galaxy), the ball fell for Tyler Brown (Vancouver Whitecaps) that snuck the ball under goalkeeper Zach Cielewich (Baltimore Armour) to level the score at 3-3.
Entering the 85th minute, the Eastern Conference were awarded a penalty kick due to a handball offense committed inside the penalty area by Daniel Barrett (Houston Dynamo FC).

Jamir Johnson (Philadelphia Union) stepped up and buried it into the bottom right corner to make it 4-3 to the Eastern Conference.
Tyler Brown (Vancouver Whitecaps FC) had a massive chance for the Western Conference when his effort in the 88th minute toward the front post was met with a spectacular save by goalkeeper Zach Cielewich (Baltimore Armour).
Jamir Johnson (Philadelphia Union) had the last chance for the Eastern Conference in the 90+1 minute when his effort was deflected away and out for a corner kick.
After the 90+5 minutes, the match concluded with the Eastern Conference holding on for the 4-3 victory over the Western Conference
