Man, this man is on fire after dispatching himself with a brace as he scored both goals in Argentina’s 2-0 victory over Austria.

Lionel Messi simply delivered a brace and broke the record for most goals in World Cup Finals competition, now at 18. It was amazing is the word and the way the Albiceleste, not just Messi, played today and playing like a well-oiled machine and simply delivered an amazing game in the end.

Kudos to goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez as he earned a second clean sheet and ensured passage to the Round of 32. Argentina can win the group if Algeria defeat Jordan later on Monday night.

Argentina will conclude group play on Saturday against Jordan in Dallas (9pm CT, Fox/Telemundo). Austria will play Algeria in Kansas City on Saturday (9pm CT, Fs1/NBC Universo).
