FOXBOROUGH, MA– New England Revolution winger Esmir Bajraktarević is set to be transferred to Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven for a fee of $6,000,000 and a future sell on fee.

On May 23rd, 2023, Bajraktarević signed with New England to a Home-Grown Player contract. He was New England’s ninth ever Home-Grown Player.

In his two seasons with New England, Bajraktarević made 94 total appearances (5,496 minutes) across Major League Soccer & MLS NEXT Pro. He registered 14 goals & 5 assists while receiving 1 yellow card.

During the 2024 season, Bajraktarević was listed 10th overall in the 2024 MLS 22 Under 22 Rankings (Best players in MLS 22 years-old or younger).

While with New England, Bajraktarević broke onto the international scene first with the United States Youth National Team. He made 1 senior appearance with the United States Senior Team prior to using his one-time switch to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina.

So far, he has made 6 senior appearances (186 minutes) for Bosnia & Herzegovina where he has 1 assist.

On December 20, 2024, GiveMeSport journalist Tom Bogert reported that PSV Eindhoven & New England Revolution are nearing a deal to send winger Esmir Bajraktarević to the Eredivisie a $6,000,000 fee.

New England is set to retain a future sell-on-clause on Bajraktarević.
