San Diego Clippers face off against Rio Grande Valley Vipers twice in three days.
The San Diego Clippers will play their last two home games at Frontwave Arena for the 2024-2025 season this week.
The San Diego Clippers (12-17) will play the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (15-13) twice at home on Tuesday and Thursday night at Frontwave Arena at 7 p.m. PT.
Both teams have lost three games in a row. The Clippers lost their two consecutive home games against the Mexico City Capitanes on Friday and Sunday night, respectively. The Vipers lost two consecutive road games against the South Bay Lakers on Wednesday and Friday night.
San Diego, the Los Angeles Clippers’ G League affiliate, is 12th in the Western Conference and, barring a late-season winning streak, is on the brink of playoff elimination. The Vipers, the Houston Rockets’ G League affiliate, are 7th in the Western Conference and are a game away from a playoff spot.
Guard Trentyn Flowers has led the Clippers all season, averaging 19.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
Guard Cam Christie and newly-added wing Patrick Baldwin Jr. average 19.1 points and 18.4 points respectively. Christie is on a two-way contract and plays in the NBA and G-League.
Baldwin Jr. previously played for the Washington Wizards and their G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go on a two-way contract.

The Vipers are led by guard Markquis Nowell. Nowell is averaging 17.8 points, 8.2 assists and 1.9 steals. Nowell, who is 5’7, is the shortest player in the G-League.
Key contributors also include wing Jack McVeigh, averaging 17 points, and center N’Faly Dente, averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds.
