Jofra Archer will miss England’s upcoming ODI series against India due to his ongoing elbow problem which has been troubling him of late.
The 25-year-old will return home to get the issue looked at ahead of an important year of cricket for the paceman.
He will also miss the beginning of the IPL where he is due to represent Rajasthan Royals alongside England teammates Jos Butler and Ben Stokes.
Lancashire’s Matt Parkinson has been drafted into the squad after being used as a reserve for the T20 series.
The three match series between the two sides commences on Tuesday at 8pm in Pune, as Eoin Morgan’s side look to respond after losing the T20 series 3-2.
