FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Revolution have re-signed Homegrown defender Peyton Miller to a multi-year contract extension through the 2028-29 MLS season, with an additional club option for the 2029-30 campaign, the club announced on Tuesday.

Miller, 18, is currently in his third MLS season and has established himself as one of Major League Soccer’s most promising young players. The United States youth international has been selected to the league’s MLS 22 Under 22 class in each of the last two seasons, including a seventh-place finish in 2025.
The Unionville, Connecticut native has started six of his 12 regular-season appearances for New England in 2026, already setting a career high with three goals. Miller has featured at both left back and left wing this season, providing the Revolution with versatility on the left side of the field.
His extension follows a breakout 2025 campaign in which he made 26 appearances, recording two goals and two assists.
Across his first three MLS seasons, Miller has registered five goals and three assists in 48 regular-season appearances, including 39 starts.

“Peyton Miller is one of the most promising players our Pro Pathway has produced and a tremendous example to all the young players rising through our program today,” Revolution General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer Chris Tierney said in a club statement.
“Peyton has been a reliable presence in our first team for more than two years and he is still maturing as a player each and every day. We are excited to help continue his development here at the club he grew up supporting.”
Miller joined the Revolution Pro Pathway at age 13 before signing with the first team as the 12th Homegrown Player in club history in 2023.
He became the first player from Connecticut to sign a Homegrown contract with New England and was the youngest player in club history to sign an MLS deal. Miller and current teammate Diego Fagundez remain the only Revolution players to sign first-team contracts at age 15.
Miller made his MLS and Revolution debut on July 17, 2024, becoming the second-youngest player in club history to both appear and start in a league match. He later became the eighth-youngest player in MLS history to record an assist in September 2024.
His development has also continued at the international level.

Miller has made more than 20 appearances across multiple United States youth national teams.
He was selected to the United States roster for the 2023 FIFA Under-17 World Cup before featuring under current Revolution head coach Marko Mitrović at the 2025 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Chile.
The United States advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament, with Miller earning additional experience against some of the top young players in international soccer.
Most recently, Miller was called into the United States Under-21 National Team for a training camp in Slovenia in May 2026.

By signing Miller to a contract extension through at least the 2028-29 MLS season, the Revolution have secured the long-term future of one of the most accomplished products to emerge from the club’s academy system in recent years.
The agreement also includes a club option for the 2029-30 MLS season.
Miller has attracted significant interest from European clubs throughout his development, with teams in both the English Premier League and the Dutch Eredivisie monitoring his progress.
Clubs reportedly linked with the 18-year-old include Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and PSV Eindhoven.
For now, however, Miller’s future remains in Foxborough as the Revolution continue to invest in one of the brightest young talents in Major League Soccer.
