This Sunday, the Principality stadium will host the National Premiership and Championship Club Finals, with S4C also providing live coverage of all three finals for those unable to make it to the capital.

Trebanos face Bedwas in the Championship Plate, Bargoed take on Neath in the Championship Cup, and the main event will see Aberavon against Newport in the Premiership Cup final.

Three games in one day with the Championship Plate kicking off first at 1pm between Trebanos and Bedwas.

Trebanos finished top of the Championship plate group unbeaten winning six games from six, including a 21-12 victory Sunday’s opponents Bedwas back in October, despite this Bedwas remain favourites if they can produce the sort of performances they have in the league, which see them sitting second in the league table behind Championship Cup finalists Bargoed.

The higher ranked clubs in the Championship battled it out for the Championship Cup, with Bargoed and Neath claiming their spots at the Principality above everyone else, with Pontypool not participating in either of the Championship competitions you’d most likely have them in the final, but this season has had a shift in power with both finalists beating Pooler in the league, this Cup will be competed for by the two of the best in the competition from this season.

Both sides met earlier in the year at The Gnoll with Bargoed claiming a 22-20 away victory over Pat Horgan’s men at the oldest ground in Welsh club Rugby.

The Championship Cup final between Bargoed and Neath will be kicking off 3.15pm.

The most anticipated final of all the competitions is most definitely the indigo Group Premiership Cup final between Aberavon Wizards and Newport RFC.

With the competition being split between East and West conferences, it was Newport who topped the East with Aberavon finishing second behind Llandovery in the west conference.

The Black and Amber’s despatched Bridgend Ravens 45-17 in the quarter final stage and overcame close rivals Cardiff RFC 34-28 to book their place in the final.

Meanwhile the Wizards finished second behind Llandovery RFC in the conference but overcame the Drovers by a point in the semi-final, winning 24-23, likewise only just sneaking past Merthyr RFC 17-16 in the quarter final stages.

With this being the penultimate cup competition in the welsh Rugby club it’ll be interesting to see what approve either coach will take on the seemingly wider pitch at the Principality.

The Premiership cup between Aberavon and Newport final will kick off at 5.35pm.
