The Campos Racing car of Boschung was the quickest driver out there in the morning session as a time of 1:42.244 as the Swiss driver jumped to the top of the timings.

Yesterday’s fastest man Jehan Daruvala was second quickest in the morning only three-hundredths slower than the Campos ahead of him.

Liam Lawson was the fastest rookie and his Hitech was third overall, a tenth slower than Boschung and seven-hundredths slower than Daruvala.

Juri Vips was a fair bit behind his Hitech teammates time as his respective time was able to put him fourth nearly three-tenths ahead of Christian Lundgaard in fifth.

Felipe Drugovich looked to get to grips with his new car and the UNI-Virtuosi ended the morning session in sixth and a tenth behind Lundgaard.

Marcus Armstrong was the quicker DAMS car for the second session running as he finished seventh and Roy Nissany came ninth, six-tenths slower than Dan Ticktum in eighth and over one-tenth slower than his teammate.

Marino Sato lifted his Trident into tenth-place after a poor showing from the driver yesterday saw him finish rock bottom. Logan Sargeant trailed the Japanese driver by four-thousands and took his car to the brink of the top ten as he finished the morning in 11th.

Theo Pourchaire closely followed behind Sargeant, two-hundredths slower in 12th. Clement Novalak was slower than Sato and got beat by his teammate by nearly two-tenths as he came 13th. David Beckmann was the quicker Charouz in the morning session as he was four-tenths quicker Guilherme Samaia as the two drivers finished 14th and 16th.

Louis Deletraz was sandwiched between the two Charouz cars as he continued to test in the MP Motorsport car and finished the first session of the day in 15th. Larim Zendeli was 16th, nearly four-tenths slower than his experienced teammate.

At the back of the field, Matteo Nannini was 18th nearly two and a half seconds slower than Boschung and his BWT HWA Racelab teammate, Roberto Merhi, trailed the 17-year-old by over a second as he finished 19th. Guanyu Zhou didn’t have the best morning session as he was over five seconds slower than the fastest time and slotted into 20th.

The two Prema’s of Oscar Piastri and Robert Shwartzman finished 21st and 22nd as the two failed to match their fourth and fifth fastest times from yesterday’s session and were rock bottom of the grid.

Lawson was the best-placed rookie for another session as he slipped from third to fourth in the second session with Armstrong able to move his car up to fifth.

Zhou lifted his UNI-Virtuosi car from 20th to 12th as Boschung was six-thousands slower than the UNI-Virtuosi in 13th. Vips saw his Hitech go from fourth to 14th in the afternoon.

Piastri took his car from the back to 15th but was nowhere near the pace he had in the first day of testing. Sato slipped down the order to 16th, four-tenths slower than his Trident teammate, as Nissany was the slower DAMS car for the third session running as he was 17th overall.

Lundgaard had a slight wobble in his ART as the Dane slid down from fifth all the way down to 18th, Zendeli continued to get grips with his MP Motorsport car as he finished 19th and Nannini was the quicker of the BWT HWA Racelab cars as he was 20th.
