A young Scottish woman astounded onlookers at the FIFA fan zone yesterday in Nice. At an impromptu keep-uppy competition run by the organisers, Laura from Dundee blew away the opposition by scoring 276.
28-year-old Laura showed total control, at points playing the ball up to her chest, from where it rested at her command before she manouevered it down again to her feet, as her friend counted.
One astounded witness was Matt, an England fan from Bristol. He said:
“Incredible. It’s really impressive to see her going all the way to 276 keepy uppies. It is phenomenal and I’ve never seen anyone do that anywhere, so yeah really really great.”
