This weekend’s National League South action saw the return of former-Maidstone United boss Harry Wheeler back in the Billericay Town hotseat in his first home game of his second tenure as manager as goals from Keiran Cadogan and Adam Coombes securing a 2-0 victory over fellow play-off chasing challengers Welling United at the AGP Arena.

Concord Rangers secured a second draw in two weekends as they held on to secure a 1-1 stalemate at Dartford whilst spending the final 25 minutes with 10 men following club captain Lee Minshull‘s dismissal after a late challenge on Charlie Sheringham. Ben Greenhalgh got the goal for the hosts in the 29th minute whilst Jack Midson scored from the penalty spot on 48 minutes.

Chippenham Town condemned more misery onto Truro City as they were defeated 2-1 with two early goals from Nat Jarvis in the opening 12 minutes securing the victory before the visitors got a consolation strike in the 84th minute through Jamie Richards.

Chelmsford City‘s great run of form in the last few weeks continued with a fine 3-1 win over Dulwich Hamlet at Champion Hill whilst East Thurrock United managed to claim their first away win of the season with a 2-0 victory at Eastbourne Borough. The win placed the Rocks outside of the relegation places on goal difference with Gloucester City taking their place of whom they drew 0-0 with high flying Bath City.

Woking‘s push for automatic promotion took a turn for the worse as they lost 2-0 to Wealdstone which subsequently opened up a 4 point gap between them and league leaders Torquay United who defeated Oxford City 7-2 which featured a hat-trick from Jake Andrews.

Weston-Super-Mare continued their relegation survival push with a 2-0 victory over Slough Town which was their first home win of the season with two goals coming within 4 minutes of each other coming from Jacob Cane and Marlon Jackson in the 49th and 53rd minutes.

St Albans City kept their play-off push running with a 2-0 victory at Hampton & Richmond Borough whilst Hungerford Town lost 3-0 to Hemel Hempstead Town.
