Liverpool may have reached the Champions League semi-finals with a 6-4 aggregate win over S.L. Benfica, but manager Jurgen Klopp says that he takes responsibility for their fragility in Wednesday night’s 3-3 second leg draw against the Portuguese side.

Liverpool’s 3-3 Champions League draw against S.L. Benfica at Anfield was by no means one of the Reds’ best performances, but it was enough to see them through into the semi-finals and tick off some landmark numbers at the same time. 

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool continued their hunt for an unprecedented quadruple, progressing into the Champions League semi-finals with a 6-4 aggregate win over S.L. Benfica despite a nervy second leg which ended 3-3 at Anfield.

Anfield has provided so many magical moments in Europe, so many cult heroes, and so much success. Now, Liverpool must go again to finish the job in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final with S.L. Benfica the visitors.
