Foxborough, MA – The New England Revolution II have named Pablo Moreira as the club’s third Head Coach in club history.

Pablo Moreira, 40, has over 400 matches (over a decade) of coaching experience in the United States.
He began his career as an Assistant Coach & Video Analyst for his alma mater, the University of Akron (2010-12). Following the 2012 season with Akron, he left the school and began his professional coaching journey. His first role in Major League Soccer was when he joined the Portland Timbers (2013-17) as an Assistant Coach. During his tenure, Pablo won the 2015 MLS Cup & assisted Portland to two Concacaf Champions Cup appearances (2014 & 2016), two Western Conference first place finishes, and a Cascadia Cup victory in 2017. In 2019, Moreira joined Columbus Crew (2019-22) as an Assistant Coach. During his tenure with Columbus, Pablo won the 2020 MLS Cup & 2021 Campeones Cup. In 2023, Pablo joined New England Revolution (2023-present) as a first team Assistant Coach. In September of 2025, he was named interim head coach of the first team after the dismissal of Caleb Porter.
Pablo follows the footsteps of Clint Peay & Richie Williams to lead the New England Revolution II.
Pablo Moreira will have Assistant Coach Michael Milazzo & Assistant Coach / Goalkeeper Coach Brad Knighton on his staff. Additionally, Sports Performance Coach Bilal Bejaoui & Head Athletic Trainer Darrell St. Jean will also return.

Head Coach Pablo Moreira will begin to work with Assistant Coaches Brad Knighton & Michael Milazzo in order to get prepared for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.
