Portland Timbers extended their winning streak with a comeback win against their arch-rivals, the Seattle Sounders. This match did not resemble the comfortable victory the Timbers enjoyed at Lumen Field a couple of weeks ago. It was a hard-fought match in which Seattle had taken the lead with a goal by Klani Rienzi in the 27th minute.

Portland reacted before the break with a goal by Kevin Kelsy in the 41st minute, and Brandon Bye secured the three points with a strike from just outside the box in the 82nd minute
