FOXBOROUGH, MA– New England Revolution (6-7-8, 25 pts) battled to a 0-0 draw versus Austin FC (7-6-8, 27 pts) on Saturday night.
The match kicked off at 8:30 p.m. ET at Q2 Stadium to a crowd of 20,000.

Starting XI versus Austin FC.
The match kicked off with Austin FC starting from the center circle. They played the ball back to goalkeeper Brad Stuver who then elected to launch the ball into New England’s defensive third.
Austin FC had the first chance of the match when an effort by Jon Gallagher in the 10th minute was blocked by Brayan Ceballos. The rebound then fell kindly for Mikkel Dessler, however, he sent his effort wide of the net.
Less than 5 minutes later, Myrto Uzuni had a massive opportunity after Osman Bukari found him at the six-yard box however his close-range effort was blocked by goalkeeper Aljaž Ivačič.
Diego Rubio had yet another chance for Austin just 30 seconds later, but he sent his effort high over the net.
Brayan Ceballos had the first chance of the match for New England when his headed effort from a corner kick was saved by goalkeeper Brad Stuver in the 16th minute.

Mikkel Dessler had yet another chance of his own in the 27th minute when his effort from the right flank hit the right-side netting.
Luca Langoni had the best chance for New England’s first half when Carles Gil found Langoni in space and allowed Langoni to let off a low effort in the 29th minute that just struck the outside post.
In the 31st minute, Revolution defender Mamadou Fofana was issued a yellow card.
In the 45+1 minute, Austin FC midfielder Dani Pereira was issued a yellow card due to an off-ball foul on Brandon Bye.
After the initial 45+2 minutes, the match entered halftime with the scoreline level at 0-0.

Half Time between New England Revolution & Austin FC.
The second half kicked off with New England starting from the center circle as they quickly advanced the ball into Austin FC’s defensive third.
Tomás Chancalay had the first chance of the second half when his effort from a pass from Luca Langoni was saved by goalkeeper Brad Stuver and out for a corner kick in the 46th minute.
Less than a minute later, Austin FC had another chance when a long distant effort by Žan Kolmanič was saved by goalkeeper Aljaž Ivačič.
Carles Gil had a massive chance in the 53rd minute when his freekick effort was met with a spectacular save by goalkeeper Brad Stuver.

In the 56th minute, Austin FC head coach Nico Estévez made his first three changes of the match by replacing Mikkel Desler, Julio Cascante, & Illie Sanchez with Robert Taylor, Besard Sabovic, & Oleksandr Svatok.
In the 61st minute, Revolution head coach Caleb Porter made his first change of the match by replacing Tomás Chancalay with Leo Campana.
Osmar Bukari had an amazing chance in the 66th minute when a rocket shot was saved by Aljaž Ivačič, struck the post, and went out for a corner kick.
Following the shot, Austin FC head coach Nico Estévez made his fourth change of the match by replacing Diego Rubio with Owen Wolff.

Just 10 minutes later, Bukari had yet another chance to score when his effort from the center of the park was met with a diving stop by Aljaž Ivačič.
Leo Campana had his first major effort in the 78th minute when his effort from the right side of the box was saved by goalkeeper Brad Stuver.
Myrto Uzuni had the best chance of the half for Austin FC in the 80th minute when his right footed effort struck the crossbar and was cleared out of New England’s penalty area.
In the 84th minute, Revolution head coach Caleb Porter made his second & third change of the match by replacing Luca Langoni & Brayan Ceballos with Keegan Hughes & Luis Díaz.

In the 85th minute, Revolution forward Luis Díaz was issued a yellow card.
Just one minute later, in 86th minute, Austin FC head coach Nico Estévez made his final change of the match by replacing Žan Kolmanič with Guilherme Biro.
In the 90+1 minute, Revolution forward Leo Campana was issued a yellow card.
After the 90+4 minutes, the match concluded in a 0-0 draw.

With the result, New England remain in 11th place in the MLS Eastern Conference.
