The Nico Estevez era began on a positive note with a 1-0 victory against Sporting Kansas City, thanks to a goal by Osman Bukari in the 76th minute. This goal proved to be the decisive factor in a match that the home team largely dominated.

For the Verde and Black, it marked their 71st home sellout at Q2 Stadium. Currently, the team is performing well, but there are concerns that injuries to key players could pose challenges as the season progresses, especially with important playmakers absent.

The Verde and Black spent big and recruited some players such as Ilie Sanchez and Brandon Vazquez very well the team spent big with Myrto Uzuni the Albanian striker and Besar Savovic as well as securing Brazilian defender Guilherme Biro.

The Tree in Ilie Sanchez has a man with lots of experience after all he won a shield in his days with the Black and Gold LAFC, without counting out Brandon Vazquez’s meteoric time with Monterrey FC of Liga MX, He also has a Shield among his honors.
