SMITHFIELD, RI– Rhode Island FC have announced that they have signed midfielder Zachary Herivaux for the remainder of the 2024 USL Championship campaign.
He will occupy a senior roster slot.
Zachary Herivaux is a 28-year-old, 6’1, 159lb midfielder from Suita, Osaka, Japan.
At the club level, Herivaux has played 120 career games (7,480 minutes) across the United States with the New England Revolution (2015-19) where he went on two loans with San Antonio FC (2017), and Birmingham Legion FC (2019). He then signed for San Antonio FC (2020). The following year, Herivaux signed for Birmingham Legion FC (2021-23) and then joined Tampa Bay Rowdies (2023-24). Rhode Island FC (2024-Present) will be his fifth professional club.
Internationally, Herivaux represents Haiti and has made 17 senior career appearances where he has registered 0 goals and 2 assists.
In total career numbers, the midfielder has contributed 7 career goals, 3 assists, along with 20 yellow cards and 1 red cards.
Historically, Zachary Herivaux began his career with the New England Revolution Academy.
He was the 3rd Home-grown Player signing in New England Revolution history and won Revolution Academy Player of the year.
He is the 7th player with ties to New England signed by Rhode Island FC this season.
He is eligible for selection in Rhode Island’s upcoming match versus Indy Eleven.
Rhode Island FC (3-9-4, 18 pts. in USL Championship) remain home to face Eastern Conference side Indy Eleven (9-2-5, 29 pts.) at Beirne Stadium. The match kicks off on Friday, July 5th at 7:30p.m. EST on ESPN+.
