Jimmy Neesham signs for Essex for Blast campaign

New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham will be joining up with the Essex Eagles for this summer’s T20 Blast, it has been confirmed.

The 30-year-old has previously played for Derbyshire and Kent in the competition so joins the Chelmsford club with experience.

He is set to come to England once his spell at the IPL is completed where he is going to represent Mumbai Indians.

Essex begin their T20 Blast campaign with a trip to Taunton to face Somerset before their first home outing brings them up against Hampshire.
