Blackburn Rovers have their eyes set on the top six as they travel to Loftus Road looking to claim all three points.
QPR have been in good form as of late picking up wins against Cardiff, Luton and Watford in their last four outings, however, they have faced a tough period at home, without a win in five after a recent loss to Derby County.
As for Blackburn, they are unbeaten since December 29th when they lost to Huddersfield away from home, Tony Mowbray’s side have continued their superb start to the season as they eye up a Play-Off spot currently sitting three points off sixth-place Bournemouth.
The two sides met each other earlier in the season with the Blue and Whites coming out on top with a 3-1 victory after goals from Adam Armstrong and Ben Brereton secured all three points.
The fixture was an open and expansive affair with both sides looked to dominate the ball but overall it was a matter of taking your chances as Mark Warburton’s side failed to claim their rewards for all the good play.
Queens Park Rangers
The Hoops have lost just one of their last five fixtures in the league and that run has moved them out of touching distance to the bottom three just a win away from reclaiming their spot at the middle of the table. Their latest result was a 2-1 away victory over promotion contenders Watford at Vicarage Road, a result which they’ll be determined to build upon against their opponents this weekend.
After a December which saw the West London side take zero wins, it had to be a productive month for them as they looked to the loan market to bolster their squad.
QPR have been setting up with a 3-4-1-2 as of late after ditching the preferred 4-2-3-1 due to a lack of results but the resurgence of Chris Willock could cause a selection headache for Warburton who needs to try and fit the 22-year-old into his starting 11.

Charlie Austin has been the centre of attention as he netted his 50th Rangers goal last time out against Watford, but Stefan Johansen impressed on his debut with deadline day signing Luke Field expected to be in the squad.
Warburton will be without midfield duo Tom Carroll and Luke Amos who are both sidelined for the majority of the season while it is expected Lyndon Dykes will return to the squad after self-isolation due to a positive COVID-19 case.
Blackburn Rovers
Mowbray’s side are on a four-match unbeaten run in the Championship at the moment, this has taken them up to eighth in the table, just three points behind Bournemouth with a game in hand.
Back-to-back victories over Middlesbrough and Luton Town have reignited confidence within the group as they look to make it three wins on the spin as they travel to West London.
Rovers greatest strength this season has been a menacing attack, led by the in-form Adam Armstrong. He has scored 17 of his side’s 41 goals and trails only Brentford’s Ivan Toney in the scoring charts. The Englishman scored two against QPR earlier in the season and will play a pivotal part this weekend.
Blackburn added an acquisition of their own in the final days of the transfer window as they tied up Manchester City starlet Taylor Harwood-Bellis who will be looking to be involved in the tie. Mowbray may be reluctant to break up a defence that kept a clean sheet last time out.
Several players remain sidelined as the game has come too soon for Bradley Johnson, Joe Rankin-Costello, Scott Wharton and Daniel Ayala.
