The Frenchman controlled from start to finish even though he came under pressure from Robert Shwartzman. Oscar Piastri finished in second ahead of Felipe Drugovich in third, who made the alternate strategy work fantastically.
The New Zealander won the second Sprint Race this morning around Monte Carlo, but a technical non-conformity sees the Hitech driver disqualified which promotes Dan Ticktum to first.
The New Zealander overtook Oscar Piastri expertly to secure his spot on the top step. Dan Ticktum finished in second after overtaking Piastri with the Australian rounding off the podium in third.
The Chinese driver led every lap as he took a commanding victory. His teammate, Felipe Drugovich, completed a UNI-Virtuosi one-two as Roy Nissany rounded off the podium with his maiden F2 podium finish.
The Frenchman set a 1:20.985 during Group A’s qualifying session meaning the even number drivers will start on the left side of the grid.
