It started so well, with the Robins as high as fifth in the table early on in the season; however they were plagued with injuries to key players which ultimately cost them a chance at the play-offs. Things are looking brighter for 2023, with a new head coach and some quality signings, Hull KR could be a dark horse this season.
Wakefield Trinity are coming off the back of a difficult 2022. The club were rooted to the bottom of the table for much of last season, until a turn of form in July took them to tenth place. However, they still remain many people’s favourites for relegation this season.
2022 was a strong year for the Giants. The club finished third in Super League and got to the Challenge Cup final, narrowly losing out to a strong Wigan team.
Super League clubs have had a busy off-season, with all teams making lots of great signings in preparation for the upcoming year. I have given my thoughts on what I think the best five signings are so far and what they will add to their new employers.
