Ex South Africa captain Faf Du Plessis has retired from Test Match cricket in order solely focus on his T20 format.
He finishes with an average of 40.02 in 69 matches in which he scored 4,163 runs after making his debut back in 2012.
The 36-year-old made ten centuries in total with his Test best 199 coming against Sri Lanka at the backend of last year.
There are two T20 World Cups approaching in the next couple of years, two events which Du Plessis will look to be involved in.
