Three things on México’s departure at the 2018 World Cup

0

Brazil made the likes of Professor Juan Carlos Osorio and his Tri awaken to reality. A crude one and stop their quest of advancing into the coveted fifth game and quarterfinals. Not today and with a dose of Samba, Mexico, spell the same results it experiences in every cup these participate. Despite the likes of manager Osorio and his players, blame their woes on poor work performed by the game official favoring the Amazonians. Still these accusations are a bit late with the damage already inflicted.

Reality stinks and Mexico played against a far greater squad in an inspired Brazilian National team. That is the end of the conversation and until next time hopefully is not the eight time for the Mexicans.

Juan Carlos Osorio- the Mexican federation will make an error if they let their manager go!

The continuance of Professor Juan Carlos Osorio at the helm of El TRI is necessary. To see the return of Osorio with this National Team is imperative, instead of experimentations with someone that in the qualifiers can choke ugly. The Colombian has performed a great job in uniting this group and showing off a new style and reviving these group ambitions. Still for him with a return is back to the drawing board and work in building a fighter of a contender for the next World Cup.

Hirving Chucky Lozano

This lad has the promise to become one of Mexico’s best players above Carlos Vela and Javier Chicharito Hernandez who in today’s match he really became a living nightmare to the Brazilian backfield. The future is bright for the man and it is not out of the realm of possibility that many big clubs might go looking for him to be added to their squad.

Guillermo Ochoa

Among one of the much-celebrated highlights of this World Cup for Mexico is their goalkeeper known by many as Memo Ochoa.  He really steps up but he cannot do it alone and at the end his squad succumbed to the push of Neymar and Firmino. Defense wins games and today the man was a bit alone in those two goals he received. I do laud his work overall and silencing many of his doubters.

In the end, México became too complacent after its wins over South Korea and especially the defending champions Germany. With Sweden, the overconfidence haunted them and despite the miracle created for them by the Koreans eliminating the Germans. That was their pass to the next rounds but against the might of the Brazilians.

A tie against the Swedes would give them a pass into the next rounds against Switzerland and maybe would been a probable win and advance to that elusive fifth game. You learn from your past mistakes and for the Mexicans to regroup and see if manager Juan Carlos Osorio makes a return.
