USA Women 2-0 Argentina Women
NASHVILLE, TN–The US Women’s National Team opened the 2026 SheBelieve Cup with a 2-0 win over Argentina at GEODIS Park in Nashville. Lindsay Heaps opened the scoring in the 19th minute after receiving a pass from just outside the box from Emma Sears. It was Heaps’s 39th goal for the USA in 171 caps. Heaps has also now scored at least one goal every year for the USA since 2015.
The USA doubled their lead in the 56th minute as Heaps turned provide after a flick-on header found Jaedyn Shaw.
The USA next take on Canada at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field in Columbus (formerly Lower.com Field) on Wednesday at 6:45pm ET on TNT, TruTV, HBO Max, NBC Universo, Peacock (in Spanish). Canada opened the SheBelieves Cup with a 4-1 win over Colombia.
The finales take place on Saturday at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ with the USA playing Colombia and Canada playing Argentina.
