Portland Timbers Briefly
A horrible loss against Minnesota last week, and the team has much to prove this season after Jose Caicedo delivered a wondrous game in a losing cause. Anyway, what’s wrong with this team? As the way this team is playing lately, has this reporter sensing that manager Phil Neville may be looking at his last matches.
Still, the team is looking to be in the postseason, and will need to get back to winning ways. Otherwise, Neville’s time in Portland will be closer to being up.
The team really needs a motivation or an injection and a boost to deliver memorable moments to its amazing fan base, who is hoping that the Timbers can turn things around and towards the postseason.
Can the Portland Timbers deliver?

San Diego FC Briefly
San Diego is not having the start it did in its first year. They are currently languishing in ninth the Western Conference and are winless in five after opening with three straight wins.
San Diego will be looking forward to Saturday’s match as a ‘get-right’ match against the Timbers who have won just once in their last seven matches. SDFC have yet to lose to the Timbers in regulation (just a penalty shootout loss in last year’s Western Conference quarterfinals).
