JJ Williams named to USL Championship Team of the Week 32

PAWTUCKET, RI– Rhode Island FC forward JJ Williams has made the USL Championship Team of the Week 32 following Saturday night’s 2-2 draw with Phoenix Rising FC.

This is JJ Williams’s second Team of the Week appearance this season.

JJ Williams obtained a position in the USL Championship Team of the Week 23 for his impressive performance on Saturday afternoon. Williams, who played 45 minutes finished the match with an 9.2 rating according to Fotmob. Offensively, JJ had 2 goals on 2 shot attempts (100% shot accuracy) with 1 assist. Williams had 25 touches during the match. The forward went 9/11 (82%) on accurate passes throughout the match. He went 2/4 (50%) on successful dribbles and was dispossessed 0 times during the match with 4 chances created. Williams defensively went 3/7 (43%) on tackles won & 1/2 (50%) on aerial duels won.  He was fouled 1 time and committed 0 fouls during the match.
