Grant Stoneman named to USL Championship Team of the Week 12

PAWTUCKET, RI– Rhode Island FC defender Grant Stoneman has made the USL Championship Team of the Week 12 despite Saturday night’s 1-0 loss to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

This is Grant Stoneman’s first Team of the Week appearance this season.

Grant Stoneman obtained a position in the USL Championship Team of the Week 12 for his standout performance on Saturday afternoon. Stoneman, who played 34 minutes finished the match with an 8.5 rating according to Fotmob. Offensively, Grant had 1 shot on target (100% accuracy). Stoneman had 87 touches during the match. The defender went 57/69 (83%) on accurate passes throughout the match. He went 1/1 (100%) on successful dribbles and was dispossessed 0 times during the match with 1 chance created. Stoneman defensively went 6/7 (86%) on tackles won & 3/3 (100%) on aerial duels won. He was fouled 2 times and committed 2 fouls during the match.
