JJ Williams named to USL Championship Team of the Week 3

PAWTUCKET, RI– Rhode Island FC forward JJ Williams has made the USL Championship Team of the Week 3 following Saturday night’s 2-2 draw with Phoenix Rising FC.

This is JJ Williams’s first Team of the Week appearance this season.

JJ Williams obtained a position in the USL Championship Team of the Week 3 for his remarkable performance on Saturday afternoon. Williams, who played 34 minutes finished the match with an 8.5 rating according to Fotmob. Offensively, JJ had 1 goal on 6 shot attempts (33% shot accuracy). Williams had 50 touches during the match. The forward went 15/28 (54%) on accurate passes throughout the match. He went 0/2 (0%) on successful dribbles and was dispossessed 0 times during the match with 4 chances created. Williams defensively went 4/10 (40%) on tackles won & 13/19 (68%) on aerial duels won.  He was fouled 2 times and committed 2 fouls during the match.
