Charlotte FC preparing for second match with Philadelphia Union

Following a 2-2 draw against Orlando City SC in a midweek matchup, Charlotte FC will go on the road to take on the Philadelphia Union.

Philadelphia is looking to bounce back following a disappointing 4-3 loss to FC Cincinnati that saw them equalize in the 91st minute before conceding in the 100th minute to lose the match.

Charlotte has been in good form heading into the match with a 5-1-3 record since the start of May. In comparison, Philadelphia is 1-4-4 in that same stretch and is 0-3-2 at home in that stretch. The two teams have already faced off once during this stretch of play, resulting in a scoreless draw.

Philadelphia overall has not fared well at home this season, winning just one home match on their way to a 1-5-3 home record so far. Charlotte has not been much better as the visitors, putting together a 2-5-1 away record with their two wins being from their last two home matches.

Charlotte will be without Scott Arfield, who is suspended for the match due to a red card he received against Orlando City.

The match is set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, June 22 streaming on Apple TV MLS Season Pass.
