Joaquín Pereyra is a 25-year-old, 6’1, 161lb winger from Paraná, Argentina.

At the club level, Pereyra has played 178 career games (10,617 minutes) across Argentina and Portugal. In career numbers, the winger has contributed 6 career goals, 12 assists, along with 32 yellow cards and 2 red cards.

According to Argentinian journalist César Luis Merlo, The New England Revolution had submitted a formal offer for the Argentinian winger.

I can confirm César Luis Merlo‘s report that the club is indeed interested in the winger.

The reporter, César Merlo, was the first to report Tomás Chancalay’s signing in New England.

According to further reports, Joaquín Pereyra has indicated to the board that he intends to leave the club. The deal being cooperated would include a 10% future sell-on clause.

The New England Revolution (0-0-0, 0pts.) return to the United States to begin their MLS season. They begin the season on the road in Washington, DC as they are set to face MLS Eastern Conference side D.C. United (0-0-0, 0 pts.) on Saturday, February 25th. The match kicks off in Audi Field at 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
