Robert Kubica will get behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo F1 car once again at this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Kubica joined Alfa Romeo Racing at the start of the 2020 Formula 1 season, following a difficult campaign at Williams alongside George Russell in 2019.
At this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix, Kubica will resume testing duties with the Swiss-based squad, replacing Zhou Guanyu during FP1, joining the likes of Nyck de Vries and Juri Vips.
With Kubica’s experience, the team may be able to use his feedback alongside that of Valtteri Bottas to improve on what has already been an impressive start for Alfa Romeo.
The Pole last races in F1 replacing Kimi Raikkonen at last year’s Italian and Dutch Grand Prix after the world champion tested positive for Covid-19.
