England have confirmed that they will begin their summer schedule with two Test Matches against New Zealand who are currently top of the standings.
Lord’s will host the first match of the series before both sides head to Birmingham to conclude New Zealand’s tour of England at Edgbaston in the middle of June.
Sri Lanka and Pakistan will both come over for white ball series before the biggest part of the summers sees Joe Root’s side face India in a five-match series, beginning at Trent Bridge and ending at Old Trafford in the middle of September before England get set to travel to Australia for the Ashes.
It is an incredibly busy year for everyone involved with England set to feature in 17 Test Matches across the year, two of which have already been one by Root’s side in Sri Lanka.
