Marcus Rashford’s double inspired Manchester United to come from behind and grab all three points despite a nervy ending at Bramall Lane.

The nation’s hero took his goal tally to 42 under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the most by any Manchester United player under a single manager since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

Earlier today, the United frontman was awarded with the FIFA Fair Play award thanks to his efforts in providing free school meals to children across the UK.

The Red Devils set a new club record of ten consecutive Premier League away wins tonight, and moved up to sixth in the Premier League table. They sit just five points off league leaders Liverpool with a game in hand.

Not shy of breaking records, the away side have now won 388 points from losing positions in the Premier League. The most in the league’s 28 year history.

Dean Henderson’s return to Sheffield took an edgy start after his clearance was intercepted by Oliver Burke and David McGoldrick was there to tap the ball into an empty net.

Rashford came to life and ignited the comeback after the 25 minute mark, latching onto Victor Lindelof’s long ball with an exquisite touch and rippled the back of the net past a helpless Aaron Ramsdale.

The Reds were ahead at the break when Paul Pogba’s pin-perfect ball found Anthony Martial who beat the Blades’ keeper and poked it home for his first Premier League goal of the season.

Just six minutes after the restart, Solskjaer’s free-flowing side made it 3-1 following a trademark counter-attack.

Inter-play between Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial found the man of the hour, Marcus Rashford who side-footed it past a disheartened Ramsdale.

Chris Wilder’s side attempted to spark a late comeback when David McGoldrick headed home with three minutes to play for his second of the game, but it came to no avail.

Sheffield United remain rock-bottom of the Premier League table with just a single point, but will look to pick up some much needed momentum against Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

The 13-time Premier League champions move on to face local rivals Leeds United on Sunday evening, with Solskjaer’s men looking to march even further up the table.
