Bayern head to the Weser Stadium with the Championship in sight

Bayern Munich will clinch the Bundesliga title this evening if they defeat Werder Bremen.

Leon Goretzka’s 85th minute winner on Saturday over Borussia Mönchengladbach put Bayern in the position to be acclaimed Champions.

It can be said they weren’t at their best at weekend, but that may have been down to the fact Thomas Müller and top scorer, Robert Lewandowski were unavailable. But they will be back in action this evening after they served their bans.

Their opponents, Werder Bremen are currently in the automatic relegation spots. However, they picked up a priceless 1-0 win at Paderborn on Saturday, which has sparked the belief they can beat the drop.

A point for Werder Bremen would take them out of the bottom two, ahead of Düsseldorf’s trip to RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
