Italian football finds itself embroiled in scandal once more as record title holders Juventus have been handed a 15 point deduction after an investigation into their past transfer activity.
In the 1990s and early 2000s Italian teams were the dominant force in European football with the likes of AC Milan, Internazionale and Juventus feared by their European compatriots. However this fear is long gone as no Italian team has won the Champions League since Jose Mourinho inspired Internazionale to the famed title in 2010.
Milan’s Fikayo Tomori was denied a spot in the lastest England squad after Gareth Southgate chose not to select the defender for their upcoming international friendlies.
