Revolution unveil “Eastern White Pines” kit ahead of 2025 season

FOXBOROUGH, MA– A brand new away kit has officially been unveiled by the New England Revolution for the upcoming MLS season.

The kit, which was unveiled on February 12th had been highly anticipated this offseason.

On December 9th of 2024, Seth Macomber of The Blazing Musket had first reported that New England had moved on from United Health Care, who stood as the team’s official jersey sponsor since April of 2011.

In late January of 2025, sources told me that the kit would be called “The Pines” which would feature a white base with green accents. Included was confirmation that Seth’s report of Gillette being the new sponsor of the club was true.

On February 11th, New England and Gillette confirmed their multi-year sponsorship.

“We are delighted to expand our relationship with Gillette through this new jersey sponsorship, strengthening our relationship with an iconic New England brand that shares our local roots and has been with us since the very beginning of our club,” Revolution President Brian Bilello said. “This exciting new chapter in our partnership will create even more opportunities for Gillette to engage with our loyal fans as they help us grow the game here in New England.”

Gillette has a long-standing legacy across sports – both in our Boston backyard with teams like the Revolution, and globally. We are thrilled to expand our partnership with the Revolution, bringing the presence of the Gillette brand to the forefront of MLS fans and consumers nationwide,” said John Claughton, Vice President of Grooming for Gillette North America. “Together we share the values of precision and performance, which has made this partnership a natural pairing. Gillette is here to ensure every member of the club, and its fans are empowered to look, feel, and be their best on and off the pitch.”

Included in the thread was the official announcement of an official Secondary Kit release tour that would take place aboard the Old Town Trolley through historic Boston, Massachusetts.

The pop-up store would be available and showcased at: Old North Church (193 Salem Street) from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Elephant & Castle sports pub (161 Devonshire Street) in the heart of Boston from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. & The Phoenix Landing in Cambridge (512 Massachusetts Ave.) from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

The club also announced that it would take the Kit tour to the remaining five New England States in the following days.

Those dates are listed below:

  • Thursday, Feb. 13 – Rí Rá Irish Pub in Burlington, Vermont (2:00-6:00 p.m.)
  • Friday, Feb. 14 – Brass Monkey in Providence, Rhode Island (5:00-7:30 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Feb. 15 – Wide World of Indoor Sports in Oakdale, Connecticut (2:00-6:00 p.m.)
  • Sunday, Feb. 16 – The June Cork Pub in Dover, New Hampshire (12:00-2:30 p.m.)
  • Sunday, Feb. 16 – Gritty McDuff’s Brew Pub in Portland, Maine (4:00-6:00 p.m.)

On Tuesday, February 12th, “The Eastern White Pines” kit officially launched.

The new 2025-26 uniform marks the first time in a decade that the original MLS club pays homage to the historic Flag of New England in its kit design, which was first adopted by the New England colonies in 1775. For years, Revolution supporters have proudly flown the flag at home matches, making the historic design synonymous with the club. While the Flag of New England has regularly been featured as a minor accent on the club’s jerseys, the new kit’s design iterates on past tributes by focusing the Eastern White Pine featured on the flag. It is the first season-long Revolution uniform to feature Forest Green as the leading color, accented by the club’s Heritage Blue, paired with white shorts and white socks.

The Eastern White Pine is the first new Revolution uniform to proudly feature Gillette, the club’s new official jersey sponsor, on the shirt’s front.

New England will wear the new Eastern White Pine kit for the first time in their preseason finale.

The preseason finale in Foxborough will be streamed as well as be open for Revolution Season Members to attend, giving supporters their first in-person look at New England’s refreshed roster one week before the regular season opener in Nashville.

Their match is set to kickoff at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, February 15th at 12:30 p.m. ET versus USL Championship side Hartford Athletic.
