Round five of the Betfred Super League and another big test for Adrian Lam’s side. After handing Castleford Tigers their first defeat of the season last week they come up against another unbeaten side tonight in Hull FC.
The Black and Whites last faced Wigan in the Super League Semi Final last season with the Warriors cruising to a 29-2 victory to reach the Grand Final. But this season Hull are a team reformed under new coach Brett Hodgson. Wins over Huddersfield Giants, Salford Red Devil, Wakefield Trinity and a draw against Warrington Wolves see them sit in third.
Wigan who have won all four of their league games have seen their performances improve week after week. The return of Bevan French against Castleford was a massive boost for the Cherry and Whites which saw the winger score a brace on his return.
