VICTORIA, BC–The Little Mountain Little League of Vancouver defeated fellow British Columbia side, Layritz LL of Victoria, 8-0, to win the Canadian Little League Championship and head to Williamsport, PA, for the Little League World Series. It will be the 32nd time a team from British Columbia has gone to Williamsport, the ninth time in ten years that a BC side has represented Canada, and the second time in four years that that team has been Little Mountain.
Earlier on Wednesday in the semifinals, Vancouver dismissed the Calgary Rocky Mountain LL, 10-0, while Victoria defeated Diamond Baseball LL of Mirabel, QC, 6-5, setting up an all-BC Final.
Vancouver will join the following international teams in Williamsport:

Australia: Brisbane North Region LL, Brisbane, Queensland
Caribbean: Aruba Center LL, Santa Cruz, Aruba
Europe-Africa: South Czech Republic LL, Brno, Czechia

Latin America: Cardenales LL, Barquisimeto, Venezuela
Mexico: El Swing Perfecto LL, Chihuahua, Mexico
Panama: Vacamonte LL, Arraijan, Panama
Puerto Rico: Juan A. Bibiloni LL, Yabucoa, Puerto Rico
On the United States side, three teams have booked their tickets to Williamsport:
