FC Cincinnati’s first “real” chance came in the 31st minute when a cross by Will Kuisel was claimed comfortably by goalkeeper Max Weinstein.
Ben Augee had a chance in the 34th minute when his effort was met with a sliding block by Victor Souza. The ball then fell for Will Kuisel, who sent his effort high over the net.
In the 38th minute, Revolution II defender Hesron Barry was issued a yellow card for kicking out at the ball. Shockingly, Hesron was not issued a red card.
Entering the 39th minute, FC Cincinnati 2 took the lead.

After receiving the ball from a free kick, midfielder Brian Schafer trapped the ball and unleashed a rocket of a volley that went bar-down and in past goalkeeper Max Weinstein to make it 1-0 to FC Cincinnati 2.

Victor Souza had a chance to level the scoreline in the 75th minute when his header from a Marcos Dias free kick went just over the crossbar.
Ben Augee had a chance to add another to FC Cincinnati 2’s scoresheet in the 79th minute when his headed effort was scuffed wide of the net.
New England’s best chance to score came in the 81st minute when a shot by Gevork Diarbian was saved by goalkeeper Paul Walters. The ball then fell to Victor Souza less than a yard out and he sent it over the net.
In the 82nd minute, Revolution II defender Gabriel Dahlin was issued a yellow card for fouling Ben Augee.
