FC Cincinnati had a massive chance in the 2nd minute when a delivery into the area by Luca Orellano was deflected and saved by goalkeeper Aljaž Ivačič.
Luca Orellano had a massive chance in the 11th minute when his left-footed strike past goalkeeper Aljaž Ivačič & struck the post. The ball was launched back into play and then cleared.
Less than 30 seconds later, Tomás Chancalay had a chance on frame that was saved by Roman Celentano and out for a corner kick.
In the 15th minute, Revolution defender Brayan Ceballos was issued a yellow card for catching FC Cincinnati midfielder Luca Orellano.
Entering the 25th minute, FC Cincinnati took the lead.

Midfielder Luca Orellano’s low-driven effort into the area found the foot over Kévin Denkey, who beat Brayan Ceballos to the ball, to make it 1-0.
New England’s next opportunity came from a cross by Peyton Miller in the 30th minute that just missed the net.
In the 39th minute, FC Cincinnati forward Kei Kamara was issued a yellow card for fouling defender Tanner Beason.
Tomás Chancalay had yet another chance in the 41st minute when he dropped Obinna Nwobodo and unleashed a shot that went just wide of the left post.
After 45+1 minutes, the match entered halftime with FC Cincinnati ahead 1-0.

In the 63rd minute, both teams made changes. Revolution head coach Caleb Porter made his first change of the match by replacing Brayan Ceballos with Maxi Urruti. New England has shifted into a 4-2-3-1. FC Cincinnati head coach Pat Noonan made his first change by replacing Kei Kamara with Corey Baird.
Maxi Urruti almost leveled the scoreline in the 70th minute when he received the ball inside the box, turned, and curled a shot that hit the upper 90 of the outside of the net.
In the 74th minute, FC Cincinnati head coach Pat Noonan made his second change by replacing Luca Orellano with Alvas Powell.
In the 79th minute, Revolution head coach Caleb Porter made his second change by replacing Tomás Chancalay with Jackson Yueill.

In the 90+2 minute, Revolution defender Mamadou Fofana was issued a yellow card for hitting DeAndre Yedlin.
New England’s next massive chance came in the 90+3 minute when a free kick taken by Carles Gil went just over the crossbar.
After the 90+4 minutes, the match concluded with FC Cincinnati holding on to the 1-0 victory.
With the result, New England remain in 10th place in the MLS Eastern Conference. FC Cincinnati snap New England’s 9-game unbeaten streak (5W-4D-1L) in last 10 matches.
