PSL clash postponed due to positive test

This afternoon’s Pakistan Super League game between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators was forced to be postponed following a positive COVID-19 test of Fawad Ahmed.

The 39-year-old tested positive for the virus on Saturday and went into isolation straight away.

The team’s other players have all brought out negative results meaning the two teams will be able to play the rearranged game on Tuesday at 2pm UK time.

Last year’s edition of the competition was also affected having to iniitally be postponed at the play off stage before the teams completed it in November.

Peshwar Zalmi currently lead the standings, picking up three wins from their opening four games to take them onto six points with the Gladiators yet to pick up a single point.
